Microsoft Store to Get Shopping Cart, Wish List Improvements

Microsoft announced that it improves the Cart Cart and Wish List experience in its online stores for Windows 10, Xbox One and the Internet.

"We are always looking for ways to improve the discovery and purchase of products and services we sell," said Chris Swenson of Microsoft. "Today, we are excited to announce that customers can start using our improved shopping cart and later this week, our new Wish List, two of the most demanding capabilities of our fans."

Microsoft added the shopping and desires shopping cart capabilities to the Microsoft Store in August. But with this new update, coming soon, both features get important updates.

The Basket included original games and apps, but will now support other items in the store, such as hardware and accessories, on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and the Internet. It is also persistent on every platform.

Similarly, the Wish List is updated to support both digital and physical data and will be persistent on every platform as well. The wish list will also support sales pricing, so you will always have the best price.

These features are tested on all Xbox Insiders and Windows 10 Insider preview programs and will be published in the next few weeks, says Microsoft.
