On Friday, a video of a supposed employee of the Bolivian National Guard (GNB) was released, in which he apologized for the events in which two Pemón Indians died in the state of Bolívar.
"I apologize to the native community for the actions of a group to shoot against the natives," a woman said in a video identifying herself as lieutenant of Grecia del Valle Roque Castillo.
The official also sent a message to Vladimir Padrino López not to use the weapons against the natives.
"My General Padrino López thinks well, does not act violently, the natives do nothing wrong, they just have us here, do not use weapons against indigenous people," he added.
The message of the alleged servant comes after the Pemón Indians held a group of members of the Bolivarian National Guard for their involvement in the deaths of two indigenous people.
