Former WFAN host Craig Carton found guilty of all types of fraud

A federal jury in Manhattan condemned Craig Carton radio station personality for fraud – putting the dead "Boomer and Carton" for 45 years imprisonment.

After less than one day of meetings, the jury of three men and nine women found that Carton was guilty of all situations, including securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Carton looked straight, as the jury read the verdict.

The test of about a week included testimonials from hedge fund executives who reported giving millions of cartons as investment in bulk events, including a national tour by Metallica and two Barbra Streisand concerts.

Documents showed that Cardon's personal expenses were borne by the money, including his gambling loans.

At that time, Cardos spent big dollars at casinos – even by borrowing money from loan sharks to fund his casino tours, according to witnesses.

One of these sharks was Desmond Finger, general manager of Upper East Side Sapphire 39, who told the jury that he had given Cardon enough short-term high-level loans to finance his casino tours in 2016 and 2017. in 2017, however, when Carton failed to restore a loan of $ 500,000, the club strip manager showed.

The men sat down in a jiggle – along with Michael Wright, who has admitted that he was guilty of helping Carton's scam – but he did not go anywhere, Finger said.

"He took me and gave me and yes," he said.

The Finns also provided evidence of e-mail from Carton, including Fred Mangione, head of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, who owns the Barclays Center and the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Mangione's alleged e-mail included minor mistakes in signing Mangione's message, including his title as "head of staff" instead of "head of staff," government data showed.

Carton resigned from WFAN's top "Boomer and Carton" radio program one week after his arrest.

At the moment he has a demonstration on the FNTSY Sports Network network titled "Carton & Friends".
