And Activision is trying to get it off track.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Nuketown map is not out until November 24 – but the Easter egg has already been revealed.
MAY BE EXCLUDED.
Redditor PimpOutMyPC, who uploaded videos from Nuketown to their YouTube channel, claimed to have entered a custom game to get on the map.
Easter egg involves removing all mannequins – previous Nuketown Easter eggs have worked in a similar way.
Something like this in Black Ops Cold War Nuketown, which was placed in a post-apocalyptic 1984, reverses the visual style by applying a blue 80s-themed digital filter to the graphics. A cool synthwave track also starts. It reminded me of Ubisoft’s wonderful Far Cry 3 spin-off, Blood Dragon, filled with a purple cloud across the sky.
Activision released an official video for Nuketown yesterday and clearly does not want to see the map before it is released. The PimpOutMyPC video has already been cleared from YouTube, with a note stating that it has received a copyright claim from Activision. But of course the Internet never forgets.

Treyarch takes the form when it comes to processing Nuketown Easter eggs. Here is the equivalent Easter egg at Black Ops 4’s Nuketown:
