The sister sisters won the César awards in the direction of photography and Bonoa Dubi, sound (Valerie du Loew, Brigitte Tayandier and Cyril Holtz) and decoration (Michel Barthelemy). This is the third time Audiard has won the César Awards In 2010, his film "Nabi" won three statues with the best French films, directing and directing, while in 2006 he won three more awards, "My heart stopped to run".

The "Other" won the Best Prize, Best French Film Award, Best Director (Logran), Montage (George Lambrinus) and Lia Lruker. The other, whose French title means "planting the sword sword in the body to the handle", refers to domestic violence through the story of a couple's separation and the insistence of the mother to keep her son to protect him from violence father's. It opens with a misleading and intelligent scene: a court hearing in which the husband appears sincere, loving and insisting on the care of his son, while the woman seems to want to deprive him of his child without the right. All this is through facial expressions, and only a few short phrases, as the dialogue focuses on lawyers and judges. Then, shortly, suddenly, patient's pathological violence is first revealed by simple behaviors and then more dangerous later.

But the value of the film does not lie in its content, which condemns violence without focusing on it, but in studying characters and deepening them away from their obvious behavior. This has given him an innovative and interesting dimension, and the depth has overtaken the phenomenon of violence. A film is worth the prize, about human relationships, especially marriage and family, between parents and children, with all the complexities and contradictions (love for hate, love for violence, etc.). She also contributed to her success in performing the actors, particularly Lea Drucker and Donnie Minochet, her husband's role in a remarkable way, but nevertheless he did not get the definition and was set.

Jack O Dear, at The Brothers Sisters, repeated the western films, French critics said. Very experienced director in avoiding stereotypes and sensitive. For its special rhythmic films, enjoy power and influence. His film is considered classic, as a film that belongs to the films of the American West, including elements of this kind, from hunting, shooting and conspiracies. At the same time, however, it is a self-produced film that presents Odier's thoughts about violence and fate and the bondage of blood.

The film starts with a spectacular "Weston" scene: heavy shooting, attacking a farm, killing the night and then launching horses in huge areas, albeit less than the West. However, like all the data gathered on the "West" in this scene, Audiard brought it from the beginning in its own way, leaving it with the feeling that it is different from what we know thanks to the characters that are not stereotypes, its contradictory tendencies range from good to bad.

He also took care of small details, such as the first appearance of a toothbrush and a "siphon" in the bathroom. Its peculiarity has appeared in the type of music used, something different from what is commonly used in western films, in relation to nature and the way it is depicted.

Eli (John C. Riley) and Charlie Sisters (Joaquin Phoenix) are two wage-earners in a violent and aggressive world. There are many dead to them, criminals and innocents, but they do not care, that's their profession. Everyone with his own personality, although Eli is the eldest, has given the leadership of his younger brother and must bring his "slowness", his whims and his tendency to bloodshed, his addiction to wine and violence. Charlie is tougher, convinced that the blood of his father, who is in his veins, has been devoted forever to the ranks of the wild. Eli dreams of a normal life but is forced to accompany his brother as a duty he feels he must do.

The contradiction in the personality of the two brothers appears in Elijah's suggestion to his brother to stop all this. Charlie surprises and asks, "What can I do?" They started a new mission to look for a man and kill him after he got his magic recipe to find gold. The areas of Jaba, cities and the West that were under reconstruction, in search of oneself and escape from black history and the pursuit of wealth, all led to revelation and re-examined their lives. Despite the violence of his heroism and the toughness of some of the scenes, the film is dominated by a warm and intimate attitude, to which the great actor contributed.

The film about blood correlation, paternity here appear in their bad influence, while the brothers in their positive result. A film about change for the better, even for the murderers, there is a good part sleep residing in the evil man, can wake up one day. The film is said to be filming in Spain and Romania, not in the United States, a feature that gave the film its own identity, which kept it away from similar films. Odier said he chose this for two reasons: away from his predecessors, and the difficulty of working conditions in the United States.

Finally, the films did not make big profits in France last year, as the Great Basin, for example. Unlike the 865,000 entry tickets sold to watch the brothers' brothers and 387,000 in the "other", the number of viewers in the "Great Basin" surpassed four million. Is this a gap between the public and the prizes and critics?
