The Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies is organizing a seminar on "Religious Values in the World of Pluralism" in co-operation with the Islamic Council of Singapore on 7 and 8 November with an official presence, represented by Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong , Singapore, in the presence of Shaikh Abdullah bin Bayah, President of the Council of the United Arab Emirates for Islamic Fatwa and chairman of the forum.
The conference is inspired by the "Marrakech Historical Declaration" on the Rights of Minorities in Islamic States and the Washington Declaration, which launched the Peace Promotion Forum through the World Alliance of Curiosity for the Inter-religious Alliance in the World.
The conference is part of an ongoing effort to discuss the future of religions and the role of religions in building societies that are becoming increasingly diverse in the world; under the shadow of a sweeping globalization sweeping human societies towards the east and west. conference also seeks to confirm the fact that religion is not only a unified force, it urges people to be a positive collective attitude, which promotes a culture of tolerance, preserves humanity dignity, promote social development and contributes to the creation of safe communities that coexist in harmony and peace.
In addition, the Singapore International Congress also seeks to present a vision of the best approaches and experiences to address today's challenges and strengthen the positive role of religious communities in the future industry.
The most important of these is to confirm the efforts of various religious groups and institutions to inspire others and spread peace among all, and to discuss ways in which religious communities can proceed by adapting religious customs and traditions to fit modern approaches which reinforce the values of the partnership. Along with conceptualization, aiming at developing an innovative framework for religious values in pluralist societies.
