Here is Samsung's collapsible mobile phone

Samung's foldable mobile phone consists of a screen on the outside and a significantly larger screen inside, a screen that is raised is 7.3 inches wide. During the presentation we were given a prototype of the phone where the design was covered in detail. So it was a really clumsy phone we had to see. The operation appeared anyway. All phone features are available from the external display, and when you open the phone, the application you use on the external monitor is ready for use on the larger internal screen.

Several challenges

To succeed in making this phone, Samsung has highlighted that it has overtaken several technical challenges. The screen is called the Infinity Flex Display and, in addition to the drop-down screen, long-term designs are also available on curved screens and displays that are flexible and can be stretched.

Samsung's foldable screen has made it slimmer, and using materials other than standard can also fasten the bearings, but at the same time allow all layers to move and thus be flexible. The device presented showed that the crowd just looked fast, but the image quality seemed to be good at everything.

Mass production in the coming months

During the presentation, it was ensured that the flexible window was not just a trick, but progress was made even in terms of actually ensuring that the screen ends in the hands of customers. Samsung promised to be ready for mass production sometime "in the coming months".

Custom interface

The mind of Samsung with the inside of the big heart is that you can use multiple applications at the same time, do not switch between different applications without having room to use many applications side-by-side. It was originally reported that all features are available on the external small screen, but the application you use on the external screen is active on the larger fold screen when you open the phone. In addition to the ability to use the entire surface of the internal screen, for example, full screen or movie reading, you can split the screen for up to three applications running in parallel.
