Ljubljana, November 6 – Regulated gasoline and diesel prices dropped at midnight. One liter of unleaded 95-octane gasoline fell 2.7 cents to 1,319 euros in petrol stations off the motorway and motorways, while diesel fell by 0.7 cents to 1.357 euros. Consequently, diesel remains more expensive than gasoline, mainly due to higher prices on world markets.
In the period from the end of September to today, the price of common diesel oil as well as biofuels, which is blended with a normal diesel, is steadily increasing. The highest price of diesel is due to the high price of diesel and to the high prices of biodiesel on world markets.
Petroleum Dealers determine gasoline and fuel prices of 100 octane and 95 octane gasoline and diesel at service stations on the motorways and on the roads themselves.
