Slowind, the festival of modern room music

Members of the renowned Slowind band, from the 6th to the 20th of November, at the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, host the famous contemporary chamber music festival. It will be designed and executed as a great celebration of the twentieth edition of the Slowind Festival, which annually enriched the Slovenian and international cultural space. Composer Nina Shank, this year's artistic director of the festival, designed a festival program with six different genres, as a celebration of a period in which the Slovenian audience, through the window of Slowind, came to the world of modern music.

Among the great innovations this year is the strong representation of live composer women, who are now more daring and brave than their male colleagues who are penetrating a new way of contemporary music. The first concert of the festival tonight at 7 pm will present a conversation with the art director Nina Senn. At the concert at 8 pm, Slowinda and his friends will perform two big pieces, after a few short solo compositions, the compositions are horizontal / vertical Olge Neuwirth and Gaugalon for the street poetry of a Korean poet Disconnect the tea.

The concert will be run by a new pipeline Jera Petriček Hrastnik. At 22.30 they announce another night concert, in which Slowind will be with friends at the concert Guillaume Dufay through the light of our time, performed the renaissance musical performances of Dufay under the piano of composer Isabel Mundry. At the third concert on November 7, the Jack Quartet will appear Klemen Leben; On November 13th they will host the Klangforum Wien complex, which will be hosted by Slowind on November 15th.
