The Italian government has decided that from now on, in order to enter schools or universities, it will be necessary to show a covid certificate as to whether the person has been vaccinated, tested or has survived Covid-19. This will apply to all adults who want to enter the school building and not to secondary and primary school students.
People under the age of 18 will be able to enter school without the PCT requirement.

The measure will enter into force on October 10. Thus, everyone, from teachers to parents who want to enter the building of an educational institution, must have a clear certificate. However, exceptions will apply to those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons. Anyone who violates this decree and is caught on school premises without a clear certificate will be fined up to 1,000 euros.
Similarly, a covid certificate will be required to enter nursing homes. This will be especially true for all employees. The measure will be in force until the end of December, when the decree for declaring a state of emergency due to the covida-19 epidemic in the country is expected to expire.
In Italy, a clear certificate is already required for the use of intercity buses and trains, as well as for domestic flights and ferries connecting the two countries.

Third dose for vulnerable groups
The Italian drug regulator Aifa, meanwhile, has given the green light to use a third dose of the vaccine for vulnerable groups, especially those with a weakened immune system.
For all vulnerable groups with a weakened immune system over the age of 12, Pfizer / BioNTech will be available if at least 28 days have passed since the last dose. Moderne will also be able to choose over the age of 18 and it will also be four weeks since the last dose.
The third dose will also be available to anyone over the age of 80 who was last vaccinated six months ago. The third dose will also be available to health professionals, especially if they come in contact with the virus.
The measure will enter into force the day after its publication in the Italian Official Journal. This means that the predictions of Prime Minister Mario Draghi that the vaccination with the third dose in Italy will begin before the end of September will come true.
