Ryanair is launching a new service from Dublin Airport in the capital of Ukraine.
The budget airline will operate the route to Kiev twice a week from April next year.
Dublin Airport Chief Executive Vincent Harrison said that with a population of more than 2.8 million, Kiev is a major city in Eastern Europe with a wealth of civilizations and history.
Dublin Airport welcomed nearly 27 million passengers in the first 10 months of the year, marking an increase of 6 percentage points over the same period in 2017.
More than 1.6 million additional passengers traveled through the airport between January and October.
