Catania coach Giuseppe Raphael sparked a confrontation after an attack on the pitch during the match between his team and Fibonacci’s guest in the seventh round of Italian third division football.
A video was widely circulated on communication sites showing Raphael standing near the touch line when one of his teammates competed for the ball with an opposing player, but the latter did very well to extract the ball and began to build a counter attack by his team in a countless time instead of losing, but coach Catania, who led the score 2-1, surprised everyone on the pitch to cut the ball and take it to the seam, depriving Fibonacci of a counterattack that was his last chance to score the equalizer.
And it seemed through the coach’s moves that he demanded a foul on his team, but the referee put a red card in his face and kicked him off the pitch, amid protests from Fibonacci players demanding a tougher penalty against Rafael.
The match ended with Catania winning two goals in one.
