MIUI 10 reaches 20 more Xiaomi mobile phones! Is yours on the list?

Xiaomi began making MIUI 10 available for more mobile phones. The new version reaches 20 new devices, making a total of 39. This update had already reached the latest equipment on September 10, but Mydrivers and GizMochina announced that only the older models are in the receive also.

The new distribution is through OTA. However, so you do not have to wait, you can go to the download section of MIUI.com. Be careful you should be more or less comfortable with the manual installation process of ROMs. The download portal in English is still listed in version 9.0. However, the Chinese version is already addressed to MIUI 10.

The new list includes many 2016 handsets as well as the Xiaomi Mi 4 released in August 2014. In fact, it is interesting to see that Xiaomi continues to bet on updates for all devices. They are not left too old.

What changes to these devices with the new MIUI 10?

Portrait for individual cameras

Portrait mode typically requires a dual camera setting to capture depth information and other details. However, last year we started to see several smartphone software solutions with just one camera and it was showing very interesting results.

It is true that Xiaomi is already using portrait mode on dual camera phones, but one of the most interesting features of MIUI 10 is the display of a new portrait mode based on camera software. Xiaomi claims she has trained her algorithms with more than 100,000 photos, so we expect very good quality.

A redesigned "recent" menu

MIUI 9 featured Xiaomi's first invasion into an 18: 9 customized screen interface, for example, by taking gestures for full-screen smartphones. The new update continues this trend.

The new Recent menu provides a vertical list of running applications, making full use of the extended screen space. At the same time, you can also push apps to delete them or play them for more choices.

Inspirational notifications

Recalling Samsung's TouchWiz interface, Xiaomi has asked nature to provide alerts and other system sounds. The company said it uses waterdrop sounds for its alerts, adding that sequential notifications will result in different sounds.

Time to relax?

Another feature of MIUI 10 is the ability to run a timer. It integrates sounds with nature themes as time is calculated. These issues are very varied. First, they range from the sound of the forest to the fire. Then you just have to relax. If you had a stressful day, maybe this timer can help.

Reduced volume volumes or volume

It's not one of the great features of MIUI 10, but the new volume / brightness controls stand out from other smartphones.

Touching the volume keys begins to overlay the volume setting on the right side of the screen (near the buttons). Of course this may vary depending on the subject and sometimes the sound indicator may appear at the top of the screen.

The two sliders also allow you to adjust the brightness / volume by pressing your finger anywhere on the panel. It is a small but welcome adaptation.

Increased response

As Android evolved, Google tried to improve the speed and fluidity of the platform. Xiaomi with MIUI has also made this a priority in most recent releases and the latest version is the example.

So this company says it has implemented two new features in MIUI 10 to speed things up. In practice it translates to a 10% increase in performance.
