The trains will not go to Chopin Airport. The renovation will start tomorrow

From 6 to 12 November, lines 440 will be refurbished in the Warszawa Słowayeck – Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina.

In connection with the renovation, this part of the railway line will close, which will prevent Szybka Kolej Miejska Kolejowa S2 and S3 and Koleje Mazowieckie trains from reaching the Chopin airport from the RL line.

Representative Karol Jakubowski from PKP PLK reports that although the renovation will last until November 12, it is the difficulties in this line will only last until Friday 9 November. During this time, the trains will end their route at Warszawa Zachodnia or Warszawa Służewiec. November 10 will return to their route.

However, the Municipal Transport Administration assures that buses 175 will be more frequent. A detailed description of the changes is available on the ZTM website.

Renovation is part of the modernization of the Warszawa Radom railway line in the Okcecie – Czachówek Południowy section of Warsaw. Nomenclatures and participation discs will be replaced. After the renovation, a new Okecie local control center will appear, from which the control room will control the traffic.
