Researchers claim that Elon Musk’s satellite internet satellites could give Earth its first technological signature. This information was first revealed in a study entitled “From the SpaceX Starlink Loudspeaker to the Search for Type-I Civilizations.”

In this photo provided by the European Space Agency (ESA) on September 9, 2014, German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst took this image of an aura as it orbited the Earth while on the International Space Station (ISS). Gerst returned to Earth on November 10, 2014 after spending six months on the International Space Station completing an extensive science project known as the “Blue Dot” mission (following astronomer Carl Sagan’s description of the Earth, as seen in a photo taken by Voyager research from six billion kilometers away).
According to the latest Teslarati report, Zaza Osmanov, a professor of astrophysics at the Free University of Tbilisi, is leading the new study, who, along with other researchers, said the technological signature would be visible from deep space.
This means that astronomers and other researchers far away from Earth could see this strange screen. If you do not know what it is, then here are some other details you need to know.
What is Techno-Signature?
NASA’s Astrobiology blog post explained that the techno-signature is a sign that there is a technology that exists on a planet. It is the proof that there are industrial activities taking place in this celestial body.

This artist’s impression, provided by the ESO (European Southern Observatory) on April 25, 2007, depicts the planetary system around the red dwarf, Gliese 581, showing what astronomers think is the planet most closely resembling Earth outside our solar system to date. Using the 3.6 m ESO telescope in Chile, astronomers have discovered the planet that could have water running on its surface. The planet revolves around the faint star Gliese 581, which is 20.5 light-years away in the constellation Libra.

Osmanov also added that the technical signature is likely to happen as SpaceX satellites on the Internet could be seen on instruments such as the VLT or the Very Large Telescope and China’s FAST radio telescope.
These space technologies could see a technical signature from 260 light-years away. The researchers also added that these giant fields are comparable to other FAST telescopes, which could also detect large constellations just 520 light-years away.
However, to be able to do these things, SpaceX satellites need to be fully upgraded, which researchers believe will take a long time.
What does he look like?
At the moment, researchers have not yet released the official photo of the Earth’s technological signature, as SpaceX has not achieved the total number of Internet satellites orbiting the Earth.
However, SpaceX has released an unofficial analysis of what could be the appearance of the fully formed constellation of Starlink Internet satellites. Based on the image, the technical signature looks like grid radio waves covering the entire Earth.
