EA Play Live 2021: The six biggest announcements and trailers

EA had a number of new games to feature at EA Play Live 2021 on Thursday, although it had already unveiled two of its biggest titles this year – Battlefield 2042 and FIFA 22 – in recent weeks and months. There was more information on the former, with Battlefield Portal allowing players to bring items from other Battlefield games. EA-owned Codemasters have had great success with Grid Legends (released in 2022), which will offer a one-player story mode full of live-action movies. However, there was no indication of a need for speed. At the same time, we watched new seasons and characters for Knockout City and Apex Legends, available this week or next. And finally, EA revealed that the Dead Space remake is in progress. Here are the best from EA Play Live 2021.

Dead space

Star Wars: Developer Squadrons EA Motive will win back and rethink the original survival horror of 2008, EA revealed at the end of the EA Play Live show, in what had been teased (by EA) and rumored (by fans) before from the event. However, we have no details beyond that, other than that there will be no small trades, bypassing the horror of Dead Space 3. The thin minute game gives us nothing.

With Codemasters now part of EA, the video game giant is raising money for the next installment of the Grid series. On the track, expect more than 100 customizable cars that you can follow on 130 routes in Paris, Moscow, London, San Francisco and beyond. You can also make your own races, allowing you to catch cars of different types, on the tracks you want with the rules you want.

He lost by accident

Developer Fe Zoink Games is back with a gothic adventure inspired by Tim Burton, who follows a girl without a pen even who has to travel six areas of the twisted kingdom Random to save her sister Odd. As you can tell, the game makes a spin on all things dice. Heck, there’s even a live character named Dicey, who you’ll roll to survive in battle. You can also use your cards – there are five types in Weapon, Damage, Defense, Danger and Deception – that you will collect along the way.

Battlefield Gate

In the upcoming Battlefield 2042, DICE will allow you to combine elements – weapons, vehicles, ranks, maps and more – from four different Battlefield games. This includes Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and of course Battlefield 2042. You know what that means. You can finally make your dream come true “who will win it?” scenarios, either bring fighters to World War II in the future or knives with men who just have defibrillators. The weird experiences you create and share with other online players.

If you pre-order Battlefield 2042, you can join an open beta in early September.

Apex Legends season 10

Knockout City season 2

The second season of the EA multiplayer dodgeball game is Hollywood-inspired, with all sorts of sets – a lovers bridge, a pyramid, a gothic cathedral and a children’s bedroom – available as an environment to play. Knockout City Season 2 “Fight at the Movies” will also bring a new type of ball to the Soda Ball that ejaculates soda and obscures players’ vision.
