The villa is located on Bir Kacem Boulevard in Rabat and covers an area of 2,000 square meters. The auction was launched on the 6th of December at the Rabat District Court, with a starting price of 16 million dirhams.
The extension of the liquidation to the leaders of Samir was issued last November 5th by the Commercial Court of Casablanca. This clearance concerns a total of seven industry directors including Samir Managing Director Cheikh Al Amoudi, Jamal Ba-Amer, Managing Director and Directors Bassam Abourdina, Georges Salem, Jason Milazzo, Lars Nelson and John Ozold . In addition to clearing personal items, their directors have been deprived of their commercial capacity for a period of five years. They are accused of maladministration that caused Samir's bankruptcy.
The liquidation will also concern the Corral Hotel Resort Company. This company owned by Mohamed Hussein El Amoudi, the owner of Samir, bought Samir in 2006 for a total of 66 million dirhams, a figure that has never been settled. The hotel company Samir owned the Amphitrite Beach Hotel Mohammedia.
Judge-Commissioner Abderrafia Bouhameria is the overseer of the winding-up procedure launched on 5 November.
