Football is in mourning. One of the most iconic and beloved Mexican football players, Melquiades Sánchez Orozco and who was the official voice of Estadio Azteca, died this Sunday at the age of 90.
This was confirmed in La Jugada de Grupo Televisa, the company she worked for.
Melquiades gave life to Santa Úrsula's colossus since his inauguration in 1966 and for 52 years was a loyal companion of America's eagles in good and bad moments.
