The festival provides the opportunity to experience a British atmosphere in Hanoi

The event is hosted by the British Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Hanoi High Commission as part of a series of activities for the 45th anniversary of the Vietnam-United Kingdom diplomatic ties (1973-2018) and the 25th anniversary of the British Council in Vietnam (1993- 2018).

The festival will gather 56 booths from UK businesses, active in various sectors of culture, education, science and technology, fashion and commerce.

There will be a fashion show featuring charming clothes and costumes from the UK fashion brands and Vietnamese fashion designers Ao Dai.

In addition, a report with many interesting photographs that reflect the beautiful world of wildlife by the lens of national and international photographers will be created at the foot of the Cam Tu Monument

A final round of a music contest for British song singing with outstanding performance by contestants, a beautifully landscaped tube image zone, outdoor movie projections and many other exciting activities such as Face art, flashmob, Maypole and tech demo, will be scheduled during the festival.

Guests will also be invited to taste British food and beverages, from traditional fish to curryyears and an innovative fusion of British-Vietnamese flavors.

According to British Ambassador to Vietnam, Gareth Ward, the festival will be an opportunity for Vietnamese to enjoy the UK's festive atmosphere in the heart of Hanoi.

The 87 units in many regions participating in the festival will present the creativity and dynamism of the UK, inspired by the country, he added.
