Miley Cyrus has remained "destroyed" after burning her home in the fires that broke out in California.

The American pop star, 25, revealed that her property was one of the thousands that was destroyed as the number of deaths across the state is 31 and it seems to grow.

Cyrus, who deals with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, said her animals and "love of my life" did it safely.

He told the tweeted: "Fully refined (sic) by the fires that affect my community. I am one of the lucky ones." My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE did so safely and that's all that matters right now.

"My home is no longer standing, but the memories shared with family and friends are strong, I am grateful for everything I have left.

"Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and the Serif region!"

In another tweet, Cyrus shared details about how to donate to various organs participating in the relief effort.

Dozens of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian West, Caitlyn Jenner and Lady Gaga were forced to leave their homes in Malibu to escape the fires.

Actor Gerard Butler told Instagram that his home in Malibu was "half gone".

Fire fires both in northern and southern California, and at least 31 people have died.

Nearly 230 people did not understand on Sunday night, leading to fears that the number of deaths could increase significantly.
