Apple buys AI Silk Launch Labs Secrets

Another secret acquisition of Apple is perceived.

Apple's technology giant for the secret market of new companies continues with the news that it has acquired an AI player and a learning engineer called Silk Labs.

Silk Labs specializes in manufacturing AI software that is light enough to work on hardware such as smartphones, cameras and digital home appliances.

The company was founded in 2015 by Andreas Gal, Chris Jones and Michael Vines. It brought $ 2.5 million in 2016 from Sparkland Capital, Qihoo 360 and a group of private investors.

Gal was previously chief technology manager at Mozilla.
