The Solheim Cup has been played since 1990 and pits the best American golfers against a team of the best players in Europe.
Team Europe are the Solheim Cup champions as the games start this week at the refurbished Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.
The game is set for Saturday-Monday, September 4-6, on the course of 6,903 yards, par-72 Inverness renovated by course architect Andrew Green.
Catriona Matthew is the leader of the European team and Pat Hurst is the leader of the United States team. The United States leads the overall standings, 10-6.
