To do this, researchers applied a multilayer clustering algorithm to analyze large amounts of data that were obtained from the Neuroimaging Initiative for Alzheimer's Disease.
The data are derived from cognitive, brain and spinal fluid tests. The study included 562 subjects with mild cognitive dysfunction.
