TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The Wuling Low, Confero MPV, gets only 1 star from the Asean New Car Assessment Program (Asean NCAP), the car's feasibility testing agency.
This achievement makes the value of the Wuling Confero lower compared to other LMPV competitors such as Toyota Avana, Daihatsu Xenia, Suzuki Ertiga and Nissan Grand Livina.
The above-mentioned names managed to get 4 stars while underwent a crash test with Asean NCAP.
So what does PT SGMW Motor Indonesia (Wuling Motors), Wuling brand representative (APM) in Indonesia say?
Wuling Motors brand manager Dian Asmahani did not question the truth but asked the unit used to test the lower version, not all variants.
"In fact, the lowest version we've equipped with security features such as seat belts, seat belts, then ISOFIX, already has it all," said Dian.

"And these characteristics are according to the type test and regulation by the government," he continued when he came in contact with (11/14/2018).
He also explained that the lowest variant of Confero was not the best seller.
"I do not remember the numbers, which are certainly not as big as L type. The point is that there are not too many proportions," said Dian.
For other variants, Dian explained that the highest version of the Confero already has full safety features such as the Dual SRS Airbag, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, ABS and EBD, rear brake discs and parking cameras.
"For our higher variants, the features are complete, but this is the lowest version we tested," concluded Dian.
