Kylian Mbappe proposed to leave Ligue 1 to avoid the “tedious” criticism he faces from the French media.
The Parisian superstar Saint-Germain believes that he is treated differently from his teammates in the Dider Deschamps team who play for clubs abroad.
Mbappe’s comments are the latest indication that he is unhappy with his current situation and will continue to leave the Parc des Princes this summer.
The 22-year-old has no shortage of suitors abroad, with the La Liga giants, Real Madrid and the Premier League champions, long-term fans.
Mbappe also claimed that no progress had been made in extending his contract with PSG – which expires in the summer of 2022 – during a disappointing interview following France’s 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday.
“Of course he’s tired,” Babpe said RTL of the regular inspection received by the French media.
“Especially when you play for a club in your country and give everything for your national team. After a while it becomes tedious.
“It is different for players who play abroad and only return here for the national team.
“I’m there all the time, they talk about me a lot more. It’s a different context [to other players], but I knew it would be so when I signed up for Paris. We’ll see.”

Mbappe also confirmed that pressure from the French media could affect his next move, adding: “Of course it plays a role, but it is not just that.
“The most important thing is to feel good when you are and have fun every day.”
Mbappe suffered a disappointing international break during which he failed to find the back of the net in three outings and missed a penalty against Kazakhstan.
But he was in great form for his club this season, scoring 30 goals and nine assists in all games.

PSG sporting director Leonardo admitted last month that “it ‘s time to make a decision” as Babapp approaches a crossroads in his career.
The Monaco ex-husband had little to say about the status of his contract, and issued a disappointing answer to a question about extending his deal.
“If it had gone ahead, I would have already discussed it,” Mbappe said. “Of course, I will say it when I have decided.”
