The exhibition titled "Life Journey" by the Director of Great Cinematography, Dr. Ramses Marzouk, will be inaugurated at the Creative Center of Prince Taz Palace in the Al-Khalifa area of the Cultural Development Fund at 7:00 pm. on Sunday.
The exhibition includes 100 photos, including works that he has made in films where he worked as a photography director, as well as photographs taken by "Marzouk" from the lens of the most important and famous monuments and tourism in Egypt.
Marzouq was born in 1940 and received his Ph.D. in film from Sorbonne in 1983. He was a member of the Egyptian Society of Cinema and Photography, the International Egyptian Salon Society. He served as chairman of the Young Cinema Society in 1960. He also worked at the French Film Factory in 1966, Teaching at the Higher Institute of Film Studies, France in 1982, and at the School of Media and Fine Arts, France in 1985.
His first photographic exhibitions took place at the Museum of Modern Art in 1960. He also organized a exhibition in Rome in 1965, another in Paris in 1970 and 1973, a show at the Tant Festival in France 2004 and Havana in Cuba in 2009. He also participated in many group exhibitions in Rome, Paris, Moscow and Cairo. A medal for photography and direction and has been honored in more than 20 local and international events. In 2005 he received the State Film Award, the Medal of Arts and Letters of the French Ministry of Culture in 2015, November.
