Sebastian Vettel lost a warning and a fine of 25,000 euros, but tomorrow he will maintain second place for the Brazilian Grand Prix in Formula One.
The Ferrari pilot was investigated for his behavior when he was summoned by the stewards to check during the qualifier.
They found that German did not follow the procedure in these cases and even broke the scales, but he still closed his engine and this allowed for precise measures, so he imposed an official warning and a financial sanction.
"We should not be called at a time when conditions change so quickly, that's unfair, I just wanted to hurry," Vettel was angry right after the ranking.
Meanwhile, the Stewards did not investigate the situation where Lewis Hamilton almost crashed with Sergey Sirokkin, so the world champion remains in a competitive position.
The Englishman accused his opponent of lack of respect because the Russian was not in a short lap and should not have developed such a speed. Hamilton tried to get away from the perfect line, but Sirotkin did the same and nearly hit.
"I do not know what he's thinking, since he was not in a fast pollen. We know we have to leave space, so for me he was totally indecent and unnecessary," Lewis said.
