US company Nikola will offer the new model of hydrogen trucks on European markets, they report Automedia.bg.
Until recently, it was thought that the concern was preparing its production exclusively for the US market, but Nicolas is now expected to come out on the European stage as well.
The company is already presenting its Models and Two Models, which intend to compete with the Tesla technology leader in this field.
At present, the third model of Nicholas, whose name is Tre (the number three in Norwegian), is still only a work, with a cabin without a long lid and an extra bed.
Engine design is flow dependent, with external mirrors being replaced by cameras.
The entire rear, including the wheels, is covered with aerodynamic frames.
The energy produced by chemical reactions charges the batteries from which it passes to the electric motor. It is expected that Tre will offer two versions of the 6×2 and 6×4 and the overall power will be between 500 and 1000 hp.
The mileage of the machine is estimated at 1200 kilometers.
At present, it is well known that the company will not be able to cope with the three-truck plan to be launched in 2020-2021. As a result, the deadline for the appearance of the machines is postponed to 2022-2023.
