Tigers are trained at the end of quarantine in Sri Lanka

The Bangladeshi cricket team began training in Sri Lanka after a three-day quarantine session.

Mominul Haque sweated for about 4 hours on Thursday morning after all team members tested negative in the last Covid-19 test last Wednesday.

They will practice in the same way for the next 3 days.

Earlier, the Bangladeshi team arrived in Sri Lanka on Monday and was quarantined at the Team Hotel in Negembo, Colombo. The practice then started at CMCC ground in Katunayake in the same city. The team will play a warm-up match here next Saturday and Sunday.

A total of 41 Tigers have toured Sri Lanka during the tour. There are coaching staff, support staff and BCB officials with 21 cricketers in the main team.

Two matches between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. The first test will start on April 21. The second test is on April 29. This time Bangladesh is going to play the first test match in this field.

The series was scheduled to take place last July. But the coronavirus was delayed due to the epidemic. After that, an attempt was made to organize the series once in October-November, but the Bangladeshi team could not go, as they did not agree to the mandatory 14-day quarantine rule in Sri Lanka.
