The new leg rotation hero, Lloyd Pope, has signed a Big Bash contract with Sydney Sixers for the season competition.
The Pope is only 18 years old, but has already drawn the look of cricket that loves the Australians with his turbulent red locks and inappropriate golf.
He came to the fore in January when he put the Poms in a final of the 19th World Cup with numbers 8/35, helping the Aussies to defend 127.
He also made headlines two weeks ago when he broke out of Queensland with a wrong "uns", taking a 7/87 in the second fight Sheffield Shield – the youngest player in the race history to get seven for.
Now he will come to star in time during the summer as he dons the pink for the Sixers season.
Sixers' first game is against Perth Scorchers at SCG on Saturday, December 22nd.
