Community members involved in the crime were relaxed at Hanover Park when President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the area on Friday.

The president took a walk in the troubled Cape Town, on the same street where the volunteer gifts of Ameerodien Noordien were allegedly shot and killed by the gang.

Members of the community grabbed Ramaphosa when a new anti-gang strategy was announced on 2 November 2018.

He offered the opportunity to rigorously alert the gangs of violence and crime, saying their days were numbered.

"I want to say that our presence here shows that the days of gangsters are exhausted, it's over. We are here to get a clear warning that we will follow.
